You keep 88% of the gross revenue on every load — the dollar amount shown on the Rate Confirmation. For example, a $4,000 load pays you $3,520. That's it. No deductions for dispatch, no admin fees, no fuel surcharge splits beyond what's on the rate con.

Are there any hidden fees or deductions?

No. Your settlement shows the gross, our 12% brokerage fee, and your net. Nothing else is taken out on our end. You pay your own fuel, insurance, and truck costs — same as any independent operator — but we don't charge extra on top of that.

What are the truck requirements?

Your truck must be 2015 or newer, pass DOT inspection, and have a working reefer unit (if pulling our trailers). We have our own trailer fleet available. Liability and cargo insurance are required — minimums per FMCSA standards.

Yes. We have reefer trailers you can lease-on. Equipment, yard, and backup trucks are all part of our infrastructure. Ask your dispatcher about availability in your area.

What CDL class do I need?

CDL-A is required. We run reefer trailers (53 ft), so you need to be comfortable with temperature-controlled loads and standard reefer operation. Experience with produce or grocery freight is a plus but not required.

How does pay work for company drivers?

Company drivers are paid weekly, every Friday. Pay is per mile with bonuses for consistent performance. Your dispatcher will go over the rate structure during onboarding — no vague promises, actual numbers.

We work with your schedule where we can. Most drivers are OTR with home time every 2–3 weeks. If you need regional or dedicated runs, ask — we'll tell you honestly what's available.

How fast can I start running?

Most operators are running within 3–5 business days after paperwork is signed. We need your MC/DOT docs, insurance certificate, and a quick truck inspection. After that, loads are available immediately.

Who do I call if there's a problem on the road?

Do you work with new authority?

Is Nakaru a broker or a carrier?
